CSCS Card Level 1 Construction qualification is needed for anyone who requires entry onto a construction site and to obtain the CSCS labourer card. It is for all industries such as construction, painting, decorating, plumbing, plastering, building maintenance, bricklaying, demolition, carpentry and joinery. The content of this CSCS health and safety course - Level 1 Construction course includes introductions to working in the construction industry, health and safety, working in a group and working towards goals. To get your CSCS Labourer Card complete this qualification at your own pace. It is ideal for new starters in an organisation or anyone not yet on the CSCS Card scheme. You do not need to sit in a classroom for a full day with us and you do not need to do this again once you have achieved this level 1 qualification.

Level 1 Construction Qualification Entry requirements
To register on the Level 1 construction qualification there are no formal entry requirements, however we do recommend you pass the touchscreen test before registering for this CSCS Labourer Card qualification. This will allow us to assist you in applying for your CSCS green card on completion of this Level 1 Health and Safety Construction qualification.

How does this CSCS Card Level 1 Construction course work?

This is the qualification route and does not need to be done again unlike the CSCS health and safety course. You do not need to sit in a classroom for a full day with us it is all elearning. The course is carried out in your own time at your own pace and your assessor will assist you in meeting your objective. On enrolment your allocated assessor will contact you to discuss the process and will provide you with the support in order to achieve the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

How is this Level 1 Construction Qualification Assessed?

This CSCS card qualification is assessed by completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be done for you. Assessment methods include completing knowledge tasks either online, via teams or in a workbook, as per your requirements.

Progression opportunities following this Level 1 construction course

On successful completion of the CSCS Card Level 1 construction qualification you are eligible for the CSCS labourer card. Please note photographic identification is required to register on any of our qualifications. We also offer other construction and demolition qualifications to suit your needs.
